Silent has a lot of really good cards that discard (acrobatics, dagger throw, survivor, calculated gamble). Tough Bandage (silent only) - Gain block whenever you discard a card. Obviously this is better the more weakness you have, but this makes a huge difference in mitigating enemy damage. Paper Krane (silent only) - Makes weakness 50% less damage instead of 75%. If you're regularly able to spend all your energy in one turn this isn't as good. This gets even better for decks that have X cost abilities, especially Malaise. Orichalcum + Metallicize can allow for very aggressive runs. Bag of marbles is cool if you have enough draw/energy to find your cards. Generally a great one to have and can do some serious damage with whirlwinds or similar scaling cards. I think Pen Nib is the most versatile here. The bottles can be run defining if you have the right thing to bottle. A lot of people like Ice Cream but I find it to be situational. Torii, Thread and Needle, Peace Pipe and Gambling Chip are imo at the very top and run defining.
Slay the spire artifacts upgrade#
Will always lead to a minor to pretty significant upgrade to your deck if you transform 3 strikes. Non energy cards - I like taking Astrolabe. The issue is that you can still draw into the dead cards before you had a chance to play evolve. Mark of Pain: I've had difficulty making this card work even with Evolve+. Philo can be a run ender much more so than the dome. i.e if you have engines to draw first turn, find a few flexes and do big whirlwinds it really doesn't matter what their intent or strength is. They're similar in that they can work if your deck is highly aggressive. Philo Stone & Runic Dome: medium priority. can end up being very detrimental to your deck. Probably still better than no energy from act 1.Ĭhoker: high priority.
